We also don't just pass your text to the AI model: we do a significant number of custom improvements tailored for translating books so you get the best possible result. We're always improving our tool based on feedback from users and the evolving underlying technology.
Yes! When translating your book with our tool you'll get a file in the same format as the one you uploaded, and all formatting will be preserved. This includes images, tables, and other elements. If for some reason your file format is complex and the layout will change, we will warn you beforehand.

We are always adding more supported formats. EPUB work especially well, and we support DOCX, HTML, IDML and TXT natively as well. PDF files are notoriously difficult to handle - we provide ample previews to help you get a sense of what the result will look like, if you don't have the original file that was used to create the PDF and have to use it.

If you upload a file without ordering a translation, it will be deleted automatically from our server after 24h. All other uploaded files and translations are automatically deleted after a month (previews, after a week). You can ask for them to be deleted at any moment before.
To run our chosen AI model we route parts of your file to providers that run the actual model for us; starting from Pro Mode we only use providers that do not log the content of what's shared with them and do not train any AI model with it. (In Standard Mode the same will often be true, but we don't ensure it.)
